Our Mission and Vision
Hope Foundation for the children (Ho.F.T.C.) exists to stand beside school-age orphaned children in Africa specifically in Malawi and D.R.Congo whose dreams of going to school are blocked by poverty, loss, and lack of support. Through education, care, and encouragement, the foundation seeks to turn forgotten potential children into future leaders, professionals, and change-makers who can transform their families, communities, and nations.
Introduction
Hope Foundation for the children (Ho.F.T.C.) is a child-focused, faith based informed initiative committed to helping orphaned families and vulnerable school-age children access quality education, basic needs, and loving support so they can pursue their God-given potential. Many of these children are bright, smart and eager to learn but cannot afford school fees-tuitions, uniforms, books, or transportation, and often lack a stable adult to advocate for them. By connecting caring partners with these children and working alongside local communities, Hope Foundation for The Children (Ho.F.T.C) provides scholarships, tuition, school supplies, and holistic support that keep children in the classroom and out of cycles of poverty and exploitation.
Vision Statement
Hope Foundation for The Children (Ho.F.T.C.) envisions an Africa where every orphaned and vulnerable child has the opportunity to sit in a classroom, succeed in school, and step into a hopeful future, fully equipped to contribute to a just, peaceful, and thriving society.
Mission Statement
The mission of Hope Foundation for The Children (Ho.F.T.C.) is to remove the barriers that keep orphaned and vulnerable school-age children from going to school by:
- Providing scholarships, school fees-tuitions, uniforms, and learning materials so children can enroll, stay, and succeed in school.
- Partnering with families, guardians, schools, churches, and community leaders to create safe, nurturing environments that support each child’s emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.
- Offering mentoring, life skills, and spiritual guidance that build character, resilience, and hope, preparing children to become servant-hearted leaders in their communities.
Through these efforts, Hope Foundation for The Children (Ho.F.T.C.) seeks to break the cycle of poverty and open doors of opportunity, one child, one classroom, and one community at a time.
