About Us
Our Story
Our story starts way back, when my family and I were refugees in the camp.
Hope Foundation for the Children (Ho.F.T.C.) is a foundation that began on December 25, 2020, at Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Malawi. It teaches people about Biblical compassion, counseling, and prayer. The founder, Pastor Moise RUHINDWA, was a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This is a non-profit community group and social God calling based on Proverbs 3:27, James 1:27, Luke 15:20.
His compassion has lead him to create a program that meets the spiritual, mental, and physical needs of people, especially orphans, at-risk children, and widows, by providing them with food, clothing, school, shelter, safety, counseling, prayer, and self-respect.
Ho.F.C. has created a fostering project through this program to help at-risk children in family situations. These kids are in this terrible situation through no fault of their own, and it costs about $50 USD a month for food, clothes, and school to give them a chance at a better future. This project is in Malawi, Africa, and I’ve seen these kids get stronger and make progress in getting over their own hopeless situations.
